Literary Manager

Egan joined Steep after appearing in Book of Days and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot.
 
When Steep moved to its new space on Berwyn in 2008, Egan wrote the new play devised specifically for the Steep ensemble, Seven Days, to inaugurate the theater.
 
He is also the writer of General Desdemona, first produced at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2004; The Most Liquid Currency in The World, produced by Pine Box Theater Company in 2007; Breach (Dog & Pony at the Den Theatre, 2014); and Save the Date, a screenplay with Jeffrey Brown and Michael Mohan, which premiered in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Egan is a public affairs officer at the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington D.C. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Michigan.
