Festen Named One of 2011's Best!
Steep's 2011 red-hot hit Festen was named one of the best shows of the year by the Chicago Sun-Times, Timeout Chicago, and chicagotheaterbeat.com.
This marks the fifth time in Timeout's seven year history that a Steep show has made their Top Ten List. Past Timeout mentions include Book of Days (2005), The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui (2007), Breathing Corpses (2008), and Harper Regan (2010).
Festen is the second Steep/Director Jonathan Berry collaboration that Chicago Sun-Times critic Hedy Weiss has cited as one of the top theatre shows of the year (Arturo Ui). Berry is back directing at Steep this summer with the Midwest premiere of Dierdre Kinahan's Moment.
