Jonathan was born and bred in Brooklyn, NY. After working with the Williamstown Theatre Festival, he graduated from Stony Brook University in May 2004, and moved to Chicago two weeks later to attend the School at Steppenwolf. With no job or school or desire to return to New York, Jonathan decided to stick it out in Chi-town, and hasn't looked back since.
Other theatres around town he's worked with include Lookingglass, the Griffin, Redmoon, Speaking Ring, Big Theater, and Pine Box Theatre Company (of which he is also a founding member). Jonathan was somehow awarded the highly-coveted prize of being named Steep's first official casting director (although whatever contest in Hell he won to get that cherry is beyond him).
Jonathan is always proud to be a Steep company member, and all he had to do to become one was take all his clothes off in front of everybody, have a can of spray paint explode in his face, cry a lot, and get molested by Mike Rice. Was it worth it? Eh.
