Jim Poole gambled most recently with Steep as Stephen in Dealer's Choice. He's also embodied Mr. Roote in The Hothouse and Dr. Wright in These Flowers
are For My Mother.
Jim directed Cotton Patch Gospel for Provision Theatre; played Leroy in The Last Yankee with the Actors Workshop at Victory Gardens and Mr. Gilmer in To Kill A Mockingbird with The Grounded Theatre Co. and embodied the Troll King in Peer at National Pastime.
He has worked at various theaters regionally and locally including: Illinois Theatre Center - Shep in Bell, Book, and Candle; Stone Table Theatre Co. - Matt in Absent Without Leave; Acacia Theatre - Matt in Talley's Folly; Stage Two Rep. Co. - Eddie in Fool For Love.
A graduate of Wheaton College, BADA and The School at Steppenwolf, Jim also works in front of the camera on many commercials and industrials, and behind the mic on numerous voice-overs, including the voice of Scooter in Big Idea's Veggie Tales.
