Michael Salinas
Michael Efrain Salinas was born and bred in South Louisiana, where the Mississippi River starts to kiss the Gulf of Mexico.
As an actor, he cut his teeth in New Orleans, formally training at Loyola University and working with different theaters in and around the city...ranging from a 900-seat, regional Shakespeare theater to a cozy little stage in the back of a French Quarter bar. He also did some film work which led him to the Sundance Film Festival in 2004.
In 2005, he floated upstream to Chicago, where he has lived ever since. In 2009, he was cast in Steep's production of In Arabia, We'd All be Kings and he became an ensemble member soon after.
Michael is thankful for many things.
